La Sol is a sculptural artist who explores how light is perceived as internal space within material. Working primarily with glass, she focuses on spatial experiences that emerge as light lingers and accumulates inside the material rather than on its surface.
Her work engages transitional states such as doors, passage, and boundaries, shaping points where physical structure and perceptual experience intersect. Rather than presenting a fixed narrative, she establishes conditions in which light condenses, diffuses, and transforms, allowing meaning to form through the viewer’s perception.
Through sculptural objects, La Sol continues to investigate how perception constructs internal space, and how light operates simultaneously as a physical phenomenon and a perceptual experience.

2024 창덕궁 내전 황실 조명기구 재현 프로젝트 제작 참여
라 솔은 빛이 지각을 통해 물질의 내부 공간으로 형성되는 방식을 탐구하는 조형 작가이다. 주로 유리를 매체로 작업하며, 빛이 표면이 아닌 물질의 내부에 머물고 축적되면서 지각 속에서 드러나는 공간적 경험에 주목한다.
작가는 문, 통과, 경계와 같은 전이적 상태에 관심을 두고, 물리적 구조와 지각적 경험이 교차하는 지점을 조형적으로 구성한다. 고정된 서사를 제시하기보다는, 빛이 응축되고 확산되며 변형되는 조건을 설정함으로써 관람자의 인식 속에서 의미가 형성되도록 한다.
그는 조형 오브제를 통해 지각이 내부 공간을 형성하는 방식과, 빛이 물리적 현상이자 인식적 경험으로 작동하는 조건을 지속적으로 탐구하고 있다.
